Ponderosa Lemons and Ginger in the Morning Sun
These Ponderosa Lemons were given freely by a neighbor who placed a basket in her driveway with a sign saying, 'Free Lemons'. These huge fruit with a bumpy, grooved peel are a cross between citron and pomelo, with an interior similar to grapefruit but a flavor between grapefruit and lemon. They graced by dining room table that evening and were painted as the morning sun shone on them the next day.
