Miramichi Bay Port Elgin Ontario, daytime July 18
This bay with its view of Chantry Island on Lake Huron is along the coast road in Port Elgin Ontario. I spent several hours there painting, photographing and watching a Kingfisher hover then dive into the water. This is the daytime view on a very windy day. Although I painted much of this on location I had to finish it in the studio because of the wind. Original oil. 16" x 20'
