I made orange marmelade for my Dad
I caught my Dad walking around the tables in his retirement home (Ottawa Canada) taking all the orange marmalade packets and putting them on his table. That January, I visited the Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings home (State Park) in Cross Creek Florida, found her Seville Orange tree, obtained permission from the Park Rangers to pick the oranges, took them to our Florida home and made orange marmalade the traditional way (no added pectin), sealed the jars and brought them to my Dad in his nursing home. Theft problem solved! 16" x 20" Original oil on canvas. Painting wraps around canvas.
