Dinner at Ann and David's
Here is dinner laid out by my sister in law Ann, a make-your-own grain bowl, with ingredients suitable for a range of tastes and requirements. There's quinoa to be topped with grilled Haloumi cheese, hard-boiled eggs, lettuce, grated carrots, corn, grilled Romaine lettuce, sliced red cabbage, slivered red pepper and a spicy Asian sauce. Each person designs their own meal. And a bottle of wine showing a Kincardine bag piper and a Windsor rose respecting Ann's family origins.
