In the brief period when restaurant patios could be open in 2020, my brother Dave Marcotte took this photo of food made for him at my sister Karen Marcotte's Ottawa restaurant 'Good Eats'. It represents a reprieve from the pandemic lockdown that Ontario was in for so long in 2020 and 2021. It represents the simple joy of just sitting outside and enjoying food with friends.
